In the News - Open Containers at Malls
Cheers! Customers can now stroll some outdoor malls with drinks in hand. After a three-year pilot program, people are now allowed to window shop and drink alcohol at select Arizona malls. Bars and restaurants at Tempe Marketplace and Desert Ridge Marketplace are now selling beer, wine and cocktails "to go" to customers wanting to stroll around in specified areas with drinks in hand. The new law allows up to 10 malls statewide to apply for the extended service.
