Today marks two years since 19 firefighters were killed as they battled the Yarnell Hill Fire. The courageous 19 died on June 30, 2013, after fast-moving flames shifted and trapped the crew. This was the deadliest firefighter disaster in Arizona’s history which also destroyed 8,700 acres of land.
Today, a moment of silence is scheduled for the exact time the tragic call about their deaths came in – 4:42 pm.
At 4:42 pm, our firm will be participating in this moment of silence to honor not only those 19 firefighters that lost their lives, but to all first responders that risk their lives to protect others.
We honor you, respect you and appreciate you for all that you do for us. May they rest in peace knowing their legacy lives on.
